With the VECSEL Simulator it is possible to model the design and operation conditions for VECSEL chips. The models cover the interplay between multiple cavity effects of microcavity, external cavity and intracavity filter. Additionally it allows for modeling temperature dependent operation modes in order to determine the optimal chip design for the desired application.
